White Mountain Snowmobile Tours is Colorado’s highest elevation snowmobile tour company and has been providing a safe and unique experience for guests under the same local ownership since 1991. Whether you choose our standard two-hour tour over groomed high mountain terrain, or a high performance ride through powder-filled back country bowls, our guides will show you the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains at elevations from 11,000 to 12,000 feet at the ‘top of the world’. If you’re looking for something fun to do near Denver, you’re in the right place. Our most popular snowmobile rides are the Prospector Tour and Performance Tour. The Prospector is our most popular and is great for easy riding family adventures, while the Performance Tour is great for those who want to pick up the pace a bit! We have options for those who are more experienced riders and want to venture further into the back country, as well as Combo Tour options so that you can zip line and ride snowmobiles all in one day!

White Mountain Tours has a fleet of 550 Polaris Voyagers and Grand Touring snowmobiles. Our veteran guides will always go the extra mile to accommodate the riding abilities of their guests to provide the best snowmobiling near Denver. They are experts with decades of combined experience in the mountains and impressive wilderness safety credentials.

Our Services

WE DO NOT PROVIDE CLOTHING LIKE SUITS, BOOTS, GLOVES OR GOGGLES. Guests must arrive wearing warm and appropriate winter clothing including jackets, pants, gloves, scarves, goggles or sunglasses. Please bring a scarf, face masks or neck gator. Arrive properly dressed or you will be unable to participate.

WE DO PROVIDE HELMETS FOR SNOWMOBILE TOURS.
HELMETS ARE NOT FULL FACE SO BE SURE TO BRING GOGGLES OR SUNGLASSES.

WE PROVIDE A HELMET, GLOVES AND FULL BODY HARNESS FOR ZIP LINE TOURS.

WE DO NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION FROM ANY LOCATION TO OUR BASE CAMPS. DRIVE DIRECTLY TO THE ADDRESS OF YOUR TOUR. Uber and Lyft are not reliable choices for transport to our locations.

Please bring protective eye wear, gloves or mittens, and a credit card with you to the base camp. Sunscreen is recommended, especially for the kids! We suggest a 15%-20% guide gratuity at the guest’s discretion.

Accept all major credit cards & cash – Riders are responsible for damage.

Allow 15-year-old to drive a snowmobile, providing they possess and present a valid driving permit or restricted license.
These drivers must be under the supervision of a parent or adult.

Things We Don’t Do

Allow anyone under 18 to carry a passenger.
Provide eye protection or gloves.
Allow pregnant women or children under four years old to participate.
Allow anyone under 18 to carry a passenger.
Allow passengers on performance or high adventure tours.
Allow more than 2 people (adults or children) per machine.
Allow any behavior that compromises one’s safety, and the safety of others.

*Our Zip Line is licensed by the State of Colorado and inspected to the highest standards in the industry. Zip Line guides are trained and certified in all aspects of zip line operation.

Reservations are recommended for all tours. We have a 48-hour non-refundable, full price, cancellation policy.

Changes to reservations (except additions) must be made at least 48 hours prior to tour. At check-in, guests must present a valid credit card to be used in the event of damage.

*Reservations cancelled or changed within 48 hours of the activity date will be non-refundable. For example, if you reserve 6 snowmobiles, and on the day of your trip you end up only taking 5 snowmobiles, you will still be charged for 6 snowmobiles.

*If you call to cancel the day of your tour, the Credit Card has been charged for the tours you reserved at the agreed price, with No refund. Trips can be rescheduled for another date with a 50% discount. Always call the office if you don’t need the number of snowmobiles reserved even if it is early the morning of the tour. Don’t wait until you reach the base came. Often there are other guests hoping to go out and they would be happy to get a machine.

All tours go snow or shine. We do not cancel tours if it is snowing.

White Mountain Tours has served guests since 1990. Safety and customer service are our first priority. All guides are certified in first aid, CPR, Avalanche Training plus other medical and wilderness credentials.

White Mountain Tours reserves the right to change tour locations to achieve the best and safest riding for our customers.

* All tour participants must complete and sign a standard liability waiver.

Cancellation or Change Policy
White Mountain has a 48-hour cancellation policy: A total refund can only be given if we are notified 48 hours in advance of the tour date. Refunds will not be given for people who do not show up on the day of the tour. If 4 people are booked and only three people come, we will not refund for the “no show person”. All reservations must be booked and paid in advance.

Reservations cancelled or changed within 48 hours of the activity date will be 100% non-refundable. For example, if you reserve 6 snowmobiles, and on the day of your trip you end up only taking 5 snowmobiles, you will still be charged for 6 snowmobiles.
