Performance Tour

The Performance Tour is designed for adventurers craving speed and exhilaration, while also being beginner-friendly. This two-hour guided experience takes riders along private trails on the slopes of Mount Arkansas, climbing as high as 12,600 feet. Explore forests, alpine meadows, and panoramic vistas from the Continental Divide.

This tour is restricted to single riders for an exclusive, adrenaline-filled journey. Riders must weigh at least 60 pounds to participate, and pregnant individuals cannot join. Arrive 30 minutes early to check in and ensure you’re ready for this high-altitude adventure.

DETAILS

Time & Duration

Each tour lasts a total of 2 hours, with three start times to choose from– 9am, 12pm, and 3pm. We ask that all guests arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled start time for check-in.

Seasonality

Tours are dependent on snowpack but generally are offered from early December to early April. Our guides are seasoned veterans and know the area extremely well. Your safety is our number one as our number one priority above all else, and we will choose terrain based on conditions.

What’s Included

Helmets are mandatory and provided. We do not use full-face helmets and ski helmets are not appropriate.

Not Included

We do not provide suits, boots, or goggles. Guests must arrive in warm and appropriate winter clothing to participate including jackets, pants, gloves, scarves, goggles or sunglasses. Please bring a scarf, face mask or neck gators. Rent gear here.

The payment total does not include customary guide gratuities. For groups of six or more, a 15% auto-gratuity will be added. Guests can choose to apply this charge at the time of booking or during check-in.

Age & Rider Requirements

Children under 6 years old may not participate. Children must ride on the back of the snowmobile. The child must be able to physically hold on and follow all other instructions during the tour. No exceptions. Pregnant women may not participate. The weight limit for double riding is 400 lbs. To drive with a passenger the driver must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. To drive a single snowmobile the driver must be at least 15 years old with a valid permit/license. No more than two people on a sled, even young children.

No, the Performance Tour is a single-rider experience. Passengers are not allowed.

The Performance Tour offers a faster-paced, more exhilarating ride through various terrains, while the High Adventure Tour is a more advanced and challenging experience for seasoned riders.

We provide helmets, but you’ll need to bring your own snow gear, such as goggles, warm winter clothing, and snow boots.

To drive a single snowmobile the driver must be at least 15 years old with a valid permit/license.
