THE FIRST ADVENTURE ON THIS COMBO IS A TWO-HOUR SNOWMOBILE TOUR AT THE TURQUOISE LAKE RIDING AREA: Arrive at the Turquoise Lake parking lot at 8:30 a.m. at 1668 County Road 99 (Grand West Drive). Includes guide gratuities.

Tour is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (depending on availability)
Helmets are mandatory and provided, we do not use full face helmets. Wear warm winter clothing, (ski wear is appropriate), insulated waterproof boots, gloves, scarf or neck gator, goggles or sunglasses for eye protection. We do not provide clothing so guests arriving without appropriate gear cannot participate. Ski gear is perfectl.
After the paperwork is completed and you are all geared up, your guide will introduce you to your snowmobile for a safety briefing before beginning your tour. Enjoy more than 25 miles of groomed trails including a 15-mile loop that climbs up from 10,000′ to about 11,300′. We also ride in the meadows, past Campgrounds like The Baby Doe, and on private areas like Rancho Escondido. This area provides incredible photo opportunities as Mount Massive, and Mount Elbert border the area, their lofty peaks soaring up to 14,000′ feet, just across the lake. This two-hour ride is for single riders only and the roads and trails will give you the confidence to feel comfortable on the snowmobile and ready for the higher altitudes and steep climbs on the 3:00 Performance Tour in the afternoon with arrival at 2:30.
Take a break and explore 70 blocks of colorful Victorian Buildings in Leadville, just a few minutes from the parking lot. Numerous restaurants, restaurants and historic Saloons along Harrison Avenue are ready to serve a great lunch. Visit interesting antique stores, the Rock Shop, the National Mining Hall of Fame Museum or take a tour of Baby Doe’s Matchless Mine or the Hopemore Underground Mine. Leadville was voted a winner as Best Historic Small Town in the 2020 USA Today Travel Award Contest.
ARRIVE AT 2:30 p.m. at WHITE MOUNTAIN’S MAIN BASE CAMP FOR YOUR SECOND SNOWMOBILE TOUR OF THE DAY. ADDRESS IS 6492 HIGHWAY 91, LEADVILLE, CO. 80461. It’s 6 miles north of Leadville on Highway 91. LOOK FOR THE 100′ TOWER IN THE PARKING LOT, REUNITE WITH YOUR GUIDE IN THE RED BUILDING
This PERFORMANCE TOUR rides on White Mountain’s private property high on the slopes of Mount Arkansas, almost a fourteener at 13,750′. Travel through pine and aspen forests and old gold mining areas. Enjoy panoramic views from our Yurt deck then ride up to THE TOP OF THE WORLD, in open snowy bowls and alpine meadows, in the shadow of the GREAT DIVIDE at altitudes up to 12,500′. Ride and play, following your guide on his favorite trails to remote areas of this rugged land. This is the true Colorado Back-Country.
NO LUNCH IS PROVIDED ON THIS TOUR. SUGGEST LUNCH DOWNTOWN LEADVILLE, OR BRING A COLD BAG LUNCH OR SNACKS.

$500.00 Per Driver – Minimum 2 participants, Single Riders Only.
Includes Gratuity of $100.00 for guide.
Tour times will depend on equipment availability. Suggested itinerary might be: Morning Performance Tour Time: 9:00 a.m. Arrive 8:30 at 1668 Co. Road 99, Leadville, Co 80461 – Lunch Break from 11:30 until 2:00, Afternoon Tour arrival at 2:30 p.m. at 6492 Highway 91, Leadville, Co. 80461. Tour from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
NOTE: IF YOU WOULD PREFER TO RIDE SNOWMOBILE TOURS ONE AFTER THE OTHER, PLEASE PLAN TO BRING A SNACK OR BAG LUNCH AND MENTION THAT PREFERENCE TO YOUR AGENT OR CONCIERGE.

USING UBER OR LYFT IS NOT A GOOD CHOICE FOR TRANSPORTATION IN OUR HIGH MOUNTAIN AREA. CELL SERVICE IS OFTEN SPOTTY AND UNRELIABLE SO YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GET A PICKUP AFTER YOUR TOUR. CHECK OUR WEBSITE FOR LINKS TO SHUTTLE COMPANIES THAT OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE USED AND RECOMMEND.
Helmets are provided. Wearing a helmet is mandatory. Ski helmets are not appropriate.
WE DO NOT PROVIDE SUITS, BOOTS OR GOGGLES. Guests must arrive in warm and appropriate winter clothing including jackets, pants, gloves, scarves, goggles or sunglasses. Please bring a scarf, facemasks or neck gator. Arrive properly dressed or you will be unable to participate.
Children under 4 may not participate. Guides cannot carry passengers. Pregnant ladies cannot participate. Children must weigh 60 pounds to participate. No one weighing more than 260 pounds can zip line.
A credit card is required at check-in to be used in the rare event of damage. Damage is very rare but you must sign a STANDARD LIABILITY WAIVER BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN ANY ACTIVITY. With this Waiver you will be accepting the responsibility to pay with the card for any damage and we will email a detailed invoice detailing the charges for parts and labor We accept all major credit cards.
White Mountain has a 48-hour cancellation policy: A total refund can only be given if we are notified 48 hours in advance of the tour date. Refunds will not be given for people who do not show up on the day of the tour. If 4 people are booked and only three people come, we will not refund for the “no show person”. We understand that situations may arise when a person might be unable to attend but it is your responsibility to phone and explain the situation, even when the tour is just hours away. All reservations must be booked and paid in advance.
